“ Went with sister and a friend on a Tuesday evening. It was surprisingly busy for early in the week. I ordered game terrine starter and corn fed chicken breast main course and also a pint of real ale, all were excellent. The waitress was very attentive and friendly as was the owner who personaly introduced himself to us. Particular liked the fact they served an extra helping of the sauces with each main course. Very impressed and would definitely recommend. ”

“ From the outside, you don't expect this to be a good restaurant and it is discreetly located in a residential area. Inside, it seems like a standard Hotel restaurant. However, the food is great and the service friendly. My wife and I have only been there twice but will definitely be returning. She got the Ceasar salad the first time and liked it so much had to get it again the second time. It is basic British food, the menu is not particularly inventive, but everything we have tried so far was very good. Easy free street parking in this area is a real bonus for Folkestone (not time limited)! ”
